Configure how Fantasy Strategy Center blends rankings and draft projections. Refresh controls and source health remain in Draft Rankings.
Draft projection weights
Simple version: each source gets a vote. A larger weight makes that source's projection count more; a weight of 0 turns it off. The weights do not add bonus points.
Expert ranking weights
Controls the blended Expert Rank shown in Draft Rankings. This is separate from projected fantasy points.
Mock Draft integration
When enabled, Draft Assistant follows simulated picks, your mock roster, current pick, next pick, available players, and Cost of Waiting. The real Draft Board is never changed.

Save your board, projections, source weights, Yahoo state, and preferences to a local JSON backup.
Data sources and imports
Import one source with projected points, ordinal ranks, or both. Projection and ranking weights stay independent. Live refresh controls and source health remain on Draft Rankings.
Import a custom data source
Name is required. Include Points, Rank, or both; Team/Pos are optional matching aids. Points should already reflect the season scoring you want to blend. Fantasy Life remains import-only because its full projection table is gated behind FantasyLife+.

League points and rank methodology
The configured Yahoo formula is the scoring source of truth after its modifier fingerprint is verified. Weekly projections count every supplied category; season aggregates never receive single-game milestone bonuses. League Rank is Value Over Replacement, not raw points.
Draft valuesLive/cached FantasyPros, FFToday, optional ESPN, and authorized imports create the weighted projection baseline. Every accepted refresh rebuilds Draft VOR, league rank, and value tiers.
Season valuesSeason tools use Current VOR relative to the best player actually available at each position.

How to use Draft Assistant
Choose your slot to see exact snake-draft picks and realistic targets. Availability uses market ADP and expert consensus; targets inside that window are ordered by your custom-scoring Draft VOR. Positive value marks players your league scores above market expectation. Treat the list as a range, because positional runs can move faster or slower than consensus.
League-specific strategy notes
QB carries extra weightSix-point passing TDs raise upside, while interceptions, sacks, and pick-sixes punish inefficiency.
Big plays pay offLong-play and yardage bonuses slightly raise explosive players over pure compilers.
Kicker accuracy mattersSevere miss penalties reward proven accuracy over volume alone.
Defense has a higher floorPrioritize takeaways and the Week 1 matchup over name value.

Draft results — copy into Yahoo
Grades are computed instantly from your own draft board — no external AI call, no internet needed. Each team's letter grade is curved against the other 11 teams in this draft, based on: value captured vs. ADP, starter-slot talent (VOR), roster construction, and positional depth. Recalculates automatically after every pick.
NFL depth charts sourced from Ourlads (updated 08/04/2026). Every player here is in your draft pool. Names with a rank shown are ranked (ADP/expert consensus); greyed names have no ranking data yet (usually deep backups/camp bodies) but can still be watched, chatted about, or manually assigned on the board. Slot 1 = starter.
Player Projections
Season and weekly stat-line projections from FantasyPros — the same backend proxy and API key used by Draft Data. Weekly rows are scored under your Yahoo custom rules using every detailed category FantasyPros supplies; niche categories that are absent from the provider row are reflected in the coverage/confidence indicator rather than silently estimated. Single-game yardage milestones are applied only to weekly stat lines, never to a season aggregate. K/DEF can fall back to provider fantasy points when the detailed kicking or defensive fields needed for your custom rules are unavailable.
This file is currently open locally (file://) — AI advice uses the server backend, so host the project through your web server to use Claude/ChatGPT. The local Strategy Engine still works without external AI.

Status & League Settings
After Yahoo authorizes Fantasy Sports access, Sync Season Data becomes the in-season source of truth for team rosters, your roster, available players, current week, and scoreboard data. Until then, season tools fall back to the completed Draft Board.
Comma-separated weeks from 1–18. These weeks drive playoff rankings, waivers, trades, and roster outlooks.
Yahoo scoring has not been inspected yet. Import a league to record its modifier fingerprint.
Season Strategy / Power Rankings
All 12 rosters, using Yahoo-synced rosters when available and the Draft Board as the fallback — Week follows the selected season week; Bench is ROS value sitting on the bench; Score converts each horizon to a league percentile, then blends Week/Next 3/ROS/Playoffs (20/15/45/20%).

NFLverse Role & Usage
Public nflverse weekly player stats are converted into a simple workload signal: QB = pass attempts + carries, RB = carries + targets, WR/TE = targets. Recent usage is the per-game average over up to the last three games and is compared with the prior three. This is an opportunity signal, not a forward projection.
